Meet The Leadership Team
Bruce Williams has over 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry and is a founding partner and CEO of Shellpoint. Prior to starting Shellpoint in 2010, Mr. Williams was a founding partner and CEO of C-Bass, a specialty finance company focused on taking mortgage credit risk. Mr. Williams has held various senior level positions at both Citigroup and Paine Weber responsible for trading, finance, sales and research for all mortgage related and asset backed products. Mr. Williams received a B.B.A. degree from The College of William and Mary, an M.B.A. degree from Rutgers University, and a post-graduate degree in accounting from New York University. Mr. Williams is a Trustee Emeritus of The College of William and Mary.
Kevin Harrigan joined New Penn Financial in January 2013 and has served as Chief Operating Officer, President, and now President & CEO. His prior professional experience includes running a multi-state, multi-channel mortgage lender (Avantor Capital, President & CEO), senior management positions at KeyCorp (Key Home Mortgage President & COO and Key Consumer Finance - SVP Risk Management) and Bank of America (Equicredit SVP). Mr. Harrigan’s career has spanned over 30 years in financial services/mortgage, including retail, wholesale, and correspondent business channels. In addition to studies at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, he earned his B.S. in Finance/Economics from Rutgers University, and an MBA from Seton Hall University.
Joe McSherry has over 30 years of experience in financial services and investment banking environments. Beginning with a foundation in Big Four accounting, he’s held positions as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Director of Accounting and Finance primarily in mortgage finance, investment banking and private equity. Mr. McSherry served on Board of Directors, Investment Committee and Audit Committee, Valuation Committee, Disclosure Committee, Risk Management Committee throughout his career. Employed at C-BASS, 650 High Income Fund, 650 Asset Management, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Credit Suisse First Boston, Brown Brothers Harriman, Asset Growth Partners, BlueStone Capital and start-ups brought to the public markets. Mr. McSherry graduated from Bentley College with a B.S. in Accounting is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) licenses-Series 27, 7 and 24.
Jack Navarro is the President of Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing. Mr. Navarro most recently served as a Managing Director in the Mortgage Group at Goldman Sachs, subsequent to their purchase of Litton Loan Servicing (Litton). He also served as a Senior Managing Director and member of the Executive Committee of C-Bass for more than 10 years, and in that role was responsible for the development and growth of Litton, a special servicer with 1,800 people and more than $400M in revenue. A real estate and mortgage/special servicing veteran, Mr. Navarro spent the 19 years before C-Bass with Prudential and Merrill Lynch developing a variety of realty and mortgage related businesses.
